High-quality, trauma-informed behavioral health training to meet the specific needs of advocates, parents, professionals, and paraprofessionals in the fields of education, and health and human services.

DFS offers nationally recognized training in behavior management, emergency response, neurodiversity, sexual behavior, and trauma informed care practices to all our employees and foster parents. 

Using a unique blend of online and classroom-based courses, all employees are trained and certified to meet and exceed the highest standards of care required by local, state, federal and accrediting bodies. 

DFS also provides parenting classes to all foster, biological, and adoptive parents, as well as family members. Classes equip caregivers with the tools they need to support youth with behavioral health needs.
