May is Foster Care Appreciation Month
May 5, 2020May of each year brings the opportunity to recognize and appreciate Alaska’s foster parents. Their tireless, selfless, and compassionate care of vulnerable youth is both a model and an inspiration, reminding all of us how important it is to care for children searching for a permanent home and family.
Please take a moment to read Governor Mike Dunleavy’s proclamation recognizing Foster Care Appreciation Month.
