Changing the world by changing a child’s life

Ways To Donate

Ways to Donate:

There are many ways to make a meaningful contribution to Denali Family Services.

Generous donations in the past have gone directly to help Alaskan children who suffer from the ramifications of abuse and neglect and other mental health illnesses.  Through the generosity of people just like you, these young children have been given the opportunity to regaining their very precious childhood.

There is simply no better way for you to make a difference, no more important cause, than to give to DFS.  The future of our country depends on the mental health and wellness of the children of Alaska.

The Mandel Society:

Denali Family Services (DFS) Mandel Society was named in honor of Howie Mandel.  Howie Mandel is an acclaimed Comedian, Actor and also an Advocate for mental health awareness.  Howie deals with the day to day issues of having ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and Mysophobia (a dread of dirt or filth, i.e. germaphobia).  Through therapy and medication management, Howie is living a healthy and successful life.  At the National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day Mandel stated "Mental health awareness, services and supports make a huge difference, especially for children and youth. I hope that in the future -- and sooner rather than later -- mental health check-ups will be as routine as dental health check-ups."

Denali Family Services Mandel Society was created exclusively to honor and recognize individuals who continue to support the mental health and wellness of Alaskans through planned giving.  Your support will ensure that future generations of Alaskans will have the opportunity to lead healthy and successful lives.  Benefits to members include special inclusion in the annual report, recognition at our buildings and an invitation to an annual reception for all members.

We appreciate your interest in the mental health and wellness of Alaskans and want to provide you with helpful information in your planned giving considerations.  The inclusion of Denali Family Services in your estate plan will ensure long term support that will impact children and adult lives far into the future.  Denali Family Services can be named in your will or in a number of other planned gifts.
